In this shoot, the church is in ruins, and the spirit trapped in the ground for centuries rises again, wearing the ruins as a crown of reclamation.

Zander grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and lives in Los Angeles. He approaches photography with a dialogue to visualize the subject's personal mythology. He was named after his grandmother's maiden name, which he reclaims.
